We are so excited to share that ASB Waterfront Theatre will host 16 Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival films over two weekends this July and August.
ASB Waterfront Theatre is now opening its theatre to the public for the first time since New Zealand’s COVID-19 lockdown, offering a premium viewing experience of this year’s film festival to audiences on the big screen!
Over two weekends 24-26 July and 31 July–2 August, you can watch World Premieres, New Zealand works, international films, documentaries, short films, world films and Hollywood stars at the magnificent ASB Waterfront Theatre.

The modern, luxurious and comfortable 675 seat theatre is fully equipped with state of-the art technology for a superior film festival experience. Concession prices are available for full-time students, members of recognised film industry guilds, Film Society members, Community Services Card holders and nurses. Presentation of an appropriate ID will be required.
TICKETING SERVICE FEES
A $1 ticket booking fee is already included in the prices. There are no additional service fees except where a courier delivery is requested.

Hand sanitiser is readily available and contact tracing is in place at the theatre through the Ministry of Health NZ COVID-19 app. Meticulous cleaning procedures and Ministry of Health guidelines are strictly followed at the ASB Waterfront Theatre. If you are unwell, please stay at home.
