On Monday, 26 June, Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival launched our programme for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We were thrilled to finally share this year’s much-anticipated Festival line-up, celebrating the occasion at Rialto Cinemas Newmarket with a myriad of goodies from our sponsors Karma Drinks, Spy Valley Wines, Native Sparkling, Garage Project, and Proper Crisps.
Attendees were also treated to a special screening of Radical (dir. Christopher Zalla), following an introductory speech from our NZIFF Pouwhakahaere Matua | General Manager Sally Woodfield.
With plenty of laughs, a few Radical-inspired happy tears, and programme brochures fresh from the press, it was a wonderful evening kicking off the collective joy to be found in cinemas at Whānau Mārama this year.
