In one of the biggest audience turnouts NZIFF Dunedin has ever seen, the Regent went off like a frog in a sock for the premiere of Life In One Chord. While Shayne himself couldn't be there, the crowd was a who’s who of the Dunedin creative scene, with familiar faces from bands including The Bats, The 3D’s, and Look Blue Go Purple all joining the buzz. Later, movie and music fans were treated to a surprise gig where young musos each performed a different Shayne Carter song.
