Back by popular demand, the Dunedin Film Society has organized a Sneak Peek of the festival, to help prospective festival-goers make their selection from the large number of films that are on offer.
The presenter will again be Ryley Atkinson, currently Vice-President of the New Zealand Federation of Film Societies, which helped institute the festival in its current form in 1984. This year Ryley has also served on the festival’s newly instituted programming pre-selection panel. After his talk, which will be illustrated with clips from selected films in the festival, a complimentary fully catered afternoon tea will be served. This event is free and is open to Dunedin Film Society members, Dunedin Public Art Gallery Society members and the general public.
